Surprise story: How do you surprise your wife? - 05/24

My wife had been wanting to see the new Marathi movie "Alibaba Ani Chalishitale Chor" in theaters. Unfortunately, with our busy schedules and the kids, we couldn't find a time. Yesterday, there was finally an opportunity, but the only show in Pune was 1.5 hours away. Disappointed, she suggested we go shopping instead.

Seeing her disappointment sparked an idea. I knew we could still make the movie if we hurried. Without telling her, I decided to take a chance. We started out for the mall, which was conveniently located on the way to the theater. Once we arrived, I told her I needed to pick up some new sandals (which was true, mine had just broken). While she browsed, I secretly purchased the movie tickets for a total of Rs 700!.

The look on her face was priceless – complete shock and pure joy! The movie was fantastic, and she had a wonderful time. 

Then, at the end of the movie, I actually surprised her by telling this: "While we were watching movie, I have given Rs 70,000 to purchase electric motor-pump, starter, cable (refer image below) and pipes to source water from 4,000 feet away on our agricultural land" 🤐
