In 2006, there was tighten security outside my college hostel, COEP Technological University. When I inquired. I was told that Congress President Sonia Gandhi was going to go pass by on this JM road, which was located in the middle of Pune city. A large crowd had gathered to wave at her. However, her car cavalry sped away as soon as it arrived and nobody knew why she came to Pune.
Fast forward to 2014, PM Modi has visited many cities in India to announce new developments beneficial for the city. But what sets him apart is that he always takes the time to meet and greet citizens. This personal touch makes a difference and touches the heart of those individuals.
Likewise, during my stint in ZS, I still remember meeting the CEO of ZS in 2016 during his visit in Pune office. After addressing over 100 attendees, he came and sat right beside me (I was sitting in the back left corner) and had a quick chat with me and my friend. He could have just sat at his designated place in front, but he was more personal and sat in the audience.
