Credit story: Cancel my credit card - My psychology

For the past few months, I've been holding an ICICI Sapphiro premium credit card. However, due to the convenience of UPI, I haven't used it much. So, I decided to cancel it.

I contacted ICICI customer care and informed them that I wanted to cancel the card since I wasn't using it. The executive took my request and assured me that they would handle it.

In my previous experiences with other banks, I usually receive a call from the retention department trying to persuade me to keep the card. Additionally, there's typically another call from an executive before the cancellation is finalized.

This time, however, I simply received a message confirming that the card was cancelled.

Am I happy that the card was cancelled with just one phone call?

Or am I feeling a bit disappointed that they didn't attempt to retain me, even though I would have insisted on cancelling the card anyway?
