Interview story: Does the individual who joins the team matches with the one from the resume and interview?

During the interview process, the candidate’s photograph is observed in various contexts:

• On the resume

• Within the LinkedIn profile

• Throughout the video interview

Upon the candidate’s commencement, there is

• WhatsApp text exchanges (where there is photo in DP) until the laptop setup is complete

• A face-to-face encounter or a video introduction

If we only considered photographs / video across all these interactions, it seems they were different individuals across each touchpoints.

P.S. I’ve presented the story in a gender-neutral manner to preclude any misunderstandings. However, I trust the essential gender-related aspect of this dilemma is understood. 😊
